Obama will not pre-empt Justin Bieber, thank God.
I know you were all crushed when you found out. But you can dry your eyes, put away your tissue boxes tuck in your lower lip and get on some real pants because, America, you need no longer fear.
Barack Obama’s DNC acceptance speech will no longer conflict with Justin Bieber’s MTV Music Video Awards performance.
An MTV spokeswoman told CNN the station would air the awards from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern, rather than their usual 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. “to avoid conflict with the Democratic National Convention proceedings that evening.”
The Obama campaign had no comment.
Well, thank God. For a second there things were going to get rough.
