Look, I’m not gonna lie. I went three for three last night. Walker won, Cubs broke their on-the-road losing streak, and the Celtics rubbed the Heats face in the carpet like they were a bad, bad doggie. I am so pleased, I even take back all that sh*t I said about trading Wisconsin to Canada for a moose.
Now we could be your go-to resource for campaign analysis, discussing, in depth, how money, turnout, anger, unions and the hand of Satan himself affected last night’s outcome, but really, you go to smarter, less alcoholic sources for that. And, in the end, this could have been predicted weeks ago, except that we thought it’d be an awful lot closer – not because we didn’t anticipate an outpouring of love for Scott Walker, but because it was clear by candidate giving numbers (Walker as candidate outraising Barrett 10-1), that the left was going to put its resources into one of two things: GOTV or lawyers.
Apparently, the strategy didn’t work. And you can tell by the amount of spin, and the wailing about “outside spending” (as though unions are not “outside organizations”) that they’re at a loss as to exactly why.
But far be it from me to help them for free. At any rate, instead of a true roundup, I give you Videos That Continue to Make Last Night Even Better Than It Was. Behold, the horror they inflicted upon themselves.
First, MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell declaring that last night’s big winner was….Barack Obama.
And then, MSNBC host Ed Schultz breaks it down for viewers. There’s always hope that Scott Walker can be indicted in the next few days, folks. There’s always hope.
If you think about it, there probably actually isn’t hope, since if the public sector employee unions who led this charge could have just relied on the court systems to rid them of Gov. Walker, they probably would have, though after last night no one could accuse them of spending their money wisely.
To that end, Governor Scott Walker’s victory speech, which, unfortunately, was neither him yelling “SUCK IT BITCHEEEZZ” or him just coming out and dropping the mic WWE style.
And speaking of speeches, here’s an enraged woman slapping Tom Barrett after he gave the conceding one.
That’s going to be a .gif on this site so fast, you’d think we’d grown some motivation.

I am basking in the glow of the CubsSurprise/HeatLoss/WalkerWin all day. Love it.
Wisconsin’s polls closed at 9 p.m. yesterday. But chances to gloat will remain open indefinitely. The losers are begging us to engage in schadenfreude, and we should be gracious enough to accept.
Scott walker.. You are really happy young repubs? The mind is a terrible thing to waste.
@Mvp
Petulant incoherence. It’s what’s for dinner.
