Did you know that being President is hard? Because it is. You have the world to worry about and stuff. And when you have the world to worry about and stuff, you don’t have time for campaigning. And when you don’t have time for campaigning, you raise less money for your re-election even though you have twice as many fundraisers as that other dude and you totally don’t have to pay for your flights because there’s always some sh*t going on that you have to deal with because you’re President. So if you totally want to know why Barack Obama is raising less money and not as awesomely awesome as he used to be, we’ll its because he has bigger things to worry about than your stupid campaign okay?

For Barack Obama, a president who set out to restore good relations with the world in his first term, the world does not seem to be cooperating all that much with his bid to win a second.

That reality has been on vivid display in recent days. Europe has seemed unable to contain its rolling economic crisis to just Greece. The Syrian conflict has intensified as the United Nations suspended its observers’ mission amid the violence. Egypt’s popular revolution is at risk of being reversed by the military. And the Russians are cracking down at home and rattling sabers abroad.

Doesn’t the whole goddam world know this is an election year? Why are they being so f***ing unreasonable? Don’t they know that the President has priorities?

President Obama spent about 4 hours on Father’s Day playing a round of golf at the Beverly Country Club with two old friends and an aide. It was his 100th round of golf since taking office.
