Yesterday was a big day for things that danced. If you like dancing, you would have loved yesterday. Today? Maybe not. But yesterday, well.
- Rafalca the Romney horse was eliminated from the Olympics yesterday after he and his rider placed 28th in the individual dressage competition. Ann Romney was proud of her horse, who despite getting .15 seconds of airtime for her “horse ballet,” garnered 6000% of the Olympic news coverage for the day, earning the gold medal for most over-exposed athlete and earning herself a last name. Rafalca did a very good job. She was a very good horsie. And adorable.
