The bad news is, the polls are turning for the Obama campaign. The good news is that it isn’t Obama’s fault. Nothing that he has done, said or accomplished in his first term in any way contributed to the downfall he’s facing now. He’s being outspent and that’s definitely not the result of poor strategy (he’s running ads constantly in Illinois, where he’s handily winning, and even if he weren’t, it would only be because they had yet to marshal the dead voters back into line), it’s the result of supporters like you who obviously can’t understand the severity of the situation and are way behind on your donations.
So step it up, assholes, before you cost him the election.
Last week, when I was in Iowa, voters told me they were feeling it. The numbers back it up: Our side is getting outspent 2-to-1 on the air there.
But the folks asking me about this don’t want an explanation — they want to know what I’m going to do about it.
And the fact is that solving this problem is up to you ….
We’re losing this air war right now.
I don’t have as much time to campaign this time as I did in 2008, so this whole thing is riding on you making it happen.
He doesn’t have as much time to campaign this time around, America. Four years has not been enough time. He needs more. And he needs your money to make this thing happen. Are you listening, America? Because he’s calling you. And he needs you to answer. Or he’s going to find you and make the economy worse, apparently.

This is the one thing that Obama isn’t actually blaming Republicans for…and it’s the one thing that Republicans are actually kind of responsible for.
But Barry is merely parroting the famous JFK line of sage advice that was advocated fifty years ago; “Ask not what you can do for your supporters, ask what your supporters can do for you !”
Besides, we need to give the ol’ Occidental College Flunk Out a break…so many of his supporters in places such as Chicago, Philadelphia, and St Louis are dead—and therefore can only vote, but not write checks to his campaign.
