Pres. Obama while campaigning in Springfield, Ohio says that “Voting is the best revenge” (November 2, 2012).
Don’t even ask, America. Don’t even ask. I don’t know what it means, either. But he has had quite enough of your sneering and your early voting results, and he would like you to get down to business and do what you have pledged to do. Or something.
He can read the Tea (Party) leaves…he must know he’s going to lose.
A confident incumbent candidate doesn’t scowl and talk about “gettin’ revenge” if he believes he’s going to win, and especially not if he believes he must persuade those last minute undecided voters to pull the lever for him.
He’s an Alinskyite—when things are going their way, they can put on a good face, and pretend to be mainstream, bipartisan, and a man of peace.
But when things turn south, their nasty temperament rises to the surface…which is why they’re attracted to the Alinsky philosophy in the first place.
