So yesterday, Illinois passed gay marriage, which is only notable if (1) you forget that Chicago gays have been getting married for years and have the best weddings EVAR and (2) you enjoy idiot politicians waxing poetic about the Catholic Church for no reason. But suffice it to say, it was a big PR move, and Rahm Emanuel, fair mayor of Chicago, celebrated by releasing a meme that was only sort of well thought out.
Sentiment? Good. Execution? Your guess is as good as mine as to whether this was accomplished under the influence of alcohol.
The good news is, though, that we may not have to worry as much about LOLCat mailbox infestations for much longer. In opposition to, or potentially in place of, the wishes of Joe Biden, Rahm Emanuel is openly considering a run for President in 2016. Because if there’s anything America needs in this time of strife, it’s a man who can confidently point three quarters of a finger at other naked men in public showers.
